Nestled at the foot of Castle Hill, Alabárdos Panzió és Apartmanház is a good gem that showcases the charm of Hungarian hospitality. During my Christmas getaway with my family, we settled into an eclectic apartment that felt both homely and stylish, with garden views that brightened our mornings. The location was perfect; we roamed the nearby streets, discovering charming cafes and the grandeur of Hungary's biggest cathedral, the Bazilika. Free Wi-Fi was a boon for our tech-savvy teen, and I appreciated the little touches like the tea and coffee maker for those cozy evenings in. The buffet breakfast, served in a lovely breakfast room, was a good way to start each day before we indulged in local explorations, especially a refreshing visit to the Aquasziget Public Bath just a short walk away. All in all, Alabárdos felt like a warm embrace during the festive season, making it a lovely home base for our family adventures.
